InDesign basics : Wrap Text around Shapes and images

Step 1 : Create a Frame or Shape and run Text behind them

The easiest way to set up your document for text-wrapping is to position your text frame(s) behind the image or shape you want to apply the text wrap effect to. This means you can easily select your frame/shape.

In this example, i have created two columns of text using the  Type Tool (T), threading the text between them by clicking once on the bottom right corner of the left-hand column. Then once again in the right-hand column.

Then i selected the Rectangle Frame Tool (F) and dragged to create an image frame, before going to File > Place > Open to place an image in the frame. I selected Ellipse Frame Tool and, holding down Shift, dragged to create a perfect circular frame before placing a second image in this new frame.

Step 2 : Open the Text Wrap Panel

Select the image frame or shape  and go to Window > Text Wrap To open the Text Wrap Panel.

Across the top of the panel there are five icons, each of which indicate a different way of applying the text wrap. The icon to the far left, selected by default, has No Text Wrap applied to your frame/shape. Click on second icon along from the left to apply a wrap around Bounding Box of the frame/shape.

You can also adjust the direction of the wrap from the Wrap Option drop-down menu.

Experiment with different ways of applying a wrap using the icons in the Text Wrap Panel. You can wrap text around an Object's Shape to give a more closely fitted appearance to the wrap. This can work particularly well with outline text (Type > Create Outlines), which gives a dramatic typography effect.

Easy 5 minutes Crepe recipe

Hello guys harini farah nak share recipe pasal crepe. Haa korang tahu tak crepe tu apa? Kalau tag tahu jom tengok

• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup low-fat milk
• 1/2 cup water
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 2 tablespoons melted butter

Whisk the flour and the eggs together in a large mixing bowl. Slowly stir in the milk and the water. Add the salt and butter, and beat the mixture until smooth.

If you have a crepe maker, you probably know what to do next. If you're not so lucky...

Heat a griddle or frying pan to medium. Give it a very light spray of cooking oil. Drop the crepe mixture onto the heated surface. Using about a 1/4 cup of batter for each crepe. Tilt the pan with a circular motion so that the batter coats the surface evenly. "Thin is in" when it comes to the layer of batter. 

Cook each side until the golden brown brown (about 2 minutes for side one -- batter will bubble; and 1 minute for side 2). Gently remove and place on a plate. Place waxed paper between cooked crepes to prevent sticking.

This will make 8 crepes. 2 crepes make a serving.

One recipe and you can make a thousand different kinds of crepes. Use any filling or topping you can imagine. This is just a good basic, go-to crepe recipe.

ITS PENANG AGAIN !!

Hi guys heheh hari ni farah nak cerita apa yang farah buat. Okay so hari ni my family and i pergi Penang hehe just untuk jalan jalan je. Kitorang gerak pukul 8.30 pagi but then stop dulu kat Alor Star sebab nak breakfast.

Hmm takda pulak gambar makanan haha tadi lapar sangat tak sempat nak amik gambar dulu 😂 Okay lepas makan tu terus gerak pergi penang. Sampai sana around 11 lebih then first stop kitorang pergi Queensbay dulu sebab nak amik barang dkt Coach hehe haritu my mom belikan tag nama so dah siap tinggal nak pergi amik je 😜

Design Hantaran

hi semuaa, yeahhh cuti sekolah pon da nak habis ni and kita pon tak lama lagi akan masok pada tahun 2017 jadi mesti ramai yang ingin mengadakan majlis perkahwinan ataupun pertunangan kan haa harinie zaty berbesar hatii (malu) ingin share design2 hantaran yang cantik2 dan yang pasti menjadi kegilaan bakal2 pengantin, oraitt jom kita tengok koleksi2 hantaran.

design ni nampak simple dan cantik sesuai sangat bagi sesiapa yang gemarkan kesederhanaan di hantaran mereka.

                                      

yang lagi grand tema kaca katanya supaya nampak lain dari yang lain.

                                                 

tema hantaran black and white kini menjadi pilihan di setiap pasangan yang ingin tampil elegant dan warna nampak garang walaupun just use 2 colour only.

Hot Spring Sg. Klah

                                                   

Hi korang, hari ni zaty nak share sikit dekat hot spring sg.klah ni, haa tapi masok byaran tu tak sure lah berapa sebab hari tu ayah zaty yang uruskan siap pakej penginapan sekali so dapat murah lah dengan tikat sekali, lagi pon dekat hot spring ni ad macam2 tauu, haa nak tau? jom scroll same2, hehehehe..

                                                 

haa kolam air panas ni kalau korang nak tauu sesuai sangat untuk orang yang ada masalah sakit2 kaki, sakit2 sendi and penyakit gaot pon sesuai tau rasa lega sangat bila dah rendam kaki dekat kolam ni..

                                                  

kalau tak tau arah tuju kemana, korang boleh la guna maps ni sebagai destinasi anda yang ingin di tuju.

                                                    

haaa dekat sini adalah lokasi utama bila sampai dekat hot spring ni and dekat sini jugak lah tak kira ibu bapa atau kanak-kanak gemar sangat pergi ke destinasi yang ni dulu.

                                                   

ha lagi satu yang paling istimewa sekali dekat hot spring ni kan kita boleh beli berapa banyak biji telur yang belum masak then kita sendiri yang pegi  celup telur tu dekat kolam air panas yang sememangnya khas hanya untuk rebus telur.
